• AI prompt and chat interactions: prompts, questions, chat history, feedback, and responses generated through BLASTseq AI assistant features.
• Billing and credit information: subscription plan, credit purchases, credit balance, credit ledger, payment history, report/tab unlocks, and AI prompt deductions.
• Support and feedback: messages, contact details, support requests, feedback submissions, and related communications.
• Technical information: session data, login activity, account status, device/browser metadata, application logs, and security events needed to operate and protect the service.

How We Use Information

• To create and manage your BLASTseq AI account.
• To run sequence-analysis workflows, generate reports, and provide AI-assisted summaries or explanations.
• To deduct credits for AI prompts and report/tab unlocks, manage subscriptions, and display billing history.
• To send email notifications, including verification, billing, support, account, and service-related messages.
• To respond to support requests and improve reliability, usability, security, and product quality.
• To detect abuse, enforce account controls, and protect BLASTseq AI and its users.

Payments and Stripe

BLASTseq AI uses Stripe as its payment processor. Card numbers, payment credentials, and other sensitive payment details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by BLASTseq AI. We may store payment-related records needed for account billing, such as plan status, subscription identifiers, invoices, payment history, purchased credits, and credit grants or deductions.

AI Features

BLASTseq AI may process your prompts, chat interactions, selected results, uploaded inputs, and generated reports to provide AI-assisted explanations and summaries. AI-generated content is intended to support review and interpretation by qualified users and may require independent validation.

Security and Access Controls

We use administrative, technical, and application-level safeguards designed to protect account and analysis data. Where implemented, sensitive account fields are encrypted, and access controls are used to limit access to authorized users and operational personnel. No internet-accessible service can guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account, analysis, report, billing, credit, and support records for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect the platform. You may request account or data deletion by contacting support. Some records, such as billing, security, audit, or transaction history, may be retained where required for legitimate business, compliance, or security reasons.

Sharing Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate BLASTseq AI, including payment processing, email delivery, hosting, analytics, customer support, and security services.
