These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of BLASTseq AI, a bioinformatics and sequence-analysis software application with AI-assisted analysis, report generation, credits, subscriptions, and billing features. By using BLASTseq AI, you agree to these terms.

Research and Informational Use

BLASTseq AI results, reports, summaries, and recommendations are provided for research and informational use unless separately validated, approved, or cleared for a specific regulated use. You are responsible for reviewing and validating outputs before relying on them for scientific, clinical, regulatory, commercial, or operational decisions.

AI-Assisted Content

AI-generated explanations, summaries, and chat responses are assistive only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular use case. Qualified users should review source data, downloaded reports, raw results, and relevant scientific context before acting on AI-generated content.

User Responsibilities
  • You must provide accurate account and billing information.
  • You must only upload files, sequences, prompts, or analysis inputs that you have the right to use and process.
  • You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for reviewing generated reports and AI outputs before use.
Credits
  • Credits are consumed for AI prompts and report/tab unlocks.
  • Each AI prompt deducts 1 credit.
  • Each report or tab unlock deducts the credit amount shown before confirmation.
  • Purchased credits are non-refundable unless required by law or expressly approved by BLASTseq AI support.
  • Subscription credits reset according to the rules of the applicable plan and do not necessarily roll over.
  • Credit balances, deductions, unlocks, and payment history may be displayed in your account or billing area.
Subscriptions and Billing
  • BLASTseq AI may offer Pro and Teams subscription plans, along with free or pay-as-you-go access where available.
  • Subscriptions are billed through Stripe, our payment processor.
  • Stripe processes card and payment details. BLASTseq AI does not store full card numbers or payment credentials.
  • Subscription cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or approved by BLASTseq AI support.
  • Plan features, pricing, limits, and included credits may change, with updated terms reflected in the app or pricing page.
Acceptable Use

You may not misuse BLASTseq AI. Prohibited activities include:

  • Attempting to bypass billing, credit deductions, access controls, rate limits, or account restrictions.
  • Uploading unlawful, unauthorized, harmful, or infringing content.
  • Using the service to attack, disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer, or compromise BLASTseq AI or third-party systems.
  • Sharing accounts or credentials in a way that violates plan limits or security requirements.
  • Misrepresenting BLASTseq AI outputs as validated, approved, or definitive without appropriate review and validation.
Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, suspected fraud, non-payment, security risk, prohibited use, violation of these terms, or activity that may harm BLASTseq AI, other users, or third parties.

Availability and Changes

BLASTseq AI may change, add, limit, or discontinue features, plans, pricing, credits, reports, integrations, or AI functionality. We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BLASTseq AI and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, research outcomes, business opportunities, or goodwill arising from use of the service. BLASTseq AI is provided without warranties except as expressly required by law or agreed in writing.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions as BLASTseq AI evolves. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
